But most exciting is seeing what grows wild, like this passion flower!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1741\" title=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" src=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-011.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-011-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are everywhere! \u00a0I have been asking what they are, but don&#8217;t have an answer yet. \u00a0Fleshy flowers, somewhat similar to hoya flowers, but these grow on a woody plant that can get as tall as a medium sized tree. \u00a0They are in bloom right now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2-28-13-003.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1742\" title=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" src=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2-28-13-003.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"466\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2-28-13-003.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2-28-13-003-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are lots of cotton plants here from the days of the loyalist plantations. \u00a0Mostly the cotton bolls are open, but I did see a few lovely yellow cotton flowers on our way to the beach yesterday. \u00a0I should have photographed them!<\/p>\n<p>We found wonderful shells on the eastern beach which faces the Atlantic. \u00a0It was a calm day, and we were there at about half tide. \u00a0Low tide would have been preferable, but this week that occurs early morning and after sunset&#8230;not so convenient for us!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-004.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1745\" title=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" src=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-004-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-004-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/3-4-13a-004-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I spent this morning spinning, finishing up the alpaca batt I brought with me from home. \u00a0It is a blend of creamy white and fawn that is making a wonderful heathered yarn.
