{"id":2516,"date":"2014-01-13T14:27:35","date_gmt":"2014-01-13T14:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/?p=2516"},"modified":"2014-01-13T14:43:55","modified_gmt":"2014-01-13T14:43:55","slug":"round-2-ready-to-weave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/?p=2516","title":{"rendered":"Round 2, Ready to Weave!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Teacher knows best!!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Repeat like a mantra: \u00a0<em>Teacher Knows Best, Teacher Knows Best&#8230;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, after painting the warp, Bob set up a heat lamp over the warp to keep the temperature as close to 70 degrees F as possible for its curing time and overnight drying period. \u00a0It worked like a charm, so this morning I have wound the warp back onto the back beam, tugging the warp firmly after each revolution of the beam. \u00a0There is no significant shifting! \u00a0Hoodah! \u00a0What a thrill to actually learn something from this process.<\/p>\n<p>I now have two cardinal rules:<br \/>\n1. \u00a0<em>Always<\/em> blot the warp before painting, even if I cannot see any excess water.<br \/>\n2. \u00a0<em>Always<\/em> tug the warp when winding back on the loom.<\/p>\n<p>I hope to complete the weaving today since it is only about a yard. I hope to paint the 3rd attempt tomorrow&#8230;.. ever hopeful!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teacher knows best!!
