{"id":1540,"date":"2013-01-06T16:45:57","date_gmt":"2013-01-06T16:45:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/?p=1540"},"modified":"2013-01-06T16:47:49","modified_gmt":"2013-01-06T16:47:49","slug":"1540","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/?p=1540","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The best made plans&#8230;. \u00a0I&#8217;ve looked forward to being home so much for so long, yet I&#8217;ve spent almost the entire month at home sick! \u00a0And I&#8217;ve had one rather big disappointment in a tapestry project&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;.but the upside is that in spite of being sick, my kids spent most of the month with us. \u00a0It was beyond wonderful to have time with them! \u00a0And I&#8217;ve gotten some weaving and some knitting done. \u00a0We&#8217;ve had some awesome meals, and I guess I will credit being sick with what has kept me from gaining weight (always the silver lining, right?)&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>So, with not much to show for myself, I&#8217;ll share a couple of good cartoons I stumbled on recently&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">From the New Yorker<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-Nyer-cartoon.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1541\" title=\"Argoknot Nyer cartoon\" src=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-Nyer-cartoon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"465\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-Nyer-cartoon.jpg 465w, http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-Nyer-cartoon-300x290.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<span style=\"text-align: center;\">and from ecards:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-cartoon.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1542\" title=\"Argoknot cartoon\" src=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-cartoon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"294\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-cartoon.jpg 420w, http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Argoknot-cartoon-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I did my bit on fiber purchases. \u00a0I have a wonderful LYS called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarnsdownunder.com\/Yarns_Down_Under\/Home.html\">Yarns Down Under<\/a>, in Deep River. \u00a0During my visit I learned that Filature di Crosa&#8217;s &#8220;127 Print&#8221; is being discontinued (sigh) so I bought two colors to make a cardigan. \u00a0I bought the black and the periwinkle blue, and I plan to use them in a vertically striped cardigan based on &#8220;Designs by Judith&#8221; pattern called &#8220;Buenos Aires&#8221; that called for Manos del Uraguay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/2013-01-06-11.37.461.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1548\" title=\"2013-01-06 11.37.46\" src=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/2013-01-06-11.37.461.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"237\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/2013-01-06-11.37.461.jpg 237w, http:\/\/www.argoknot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/2013-01-06-11.37.461-222x300.jpg 222w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 237px) 100vw, 237px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So this takes a bit of imagination&#8230;.
